On arrival at Cochin, you will be transferred to Munnar. Upon arrival check in at hotel. Munnar is located at the confluence of 03 rivers as the very name signifies. The sprawling tea plantations and picturesque towns make Munnar a popular hill resort town in South India. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at the Hotel. Sightseeing: - Enroute visit Kodanadu elephant care centre, Cheyyara waterfalls, Valara waterfalls, Attukadu waterfalls, Spice plantations etc. Distance between Cochin to Munnar 135 Kms (3.5 hours) by road.
After breakfast, prepare for an exciting day exploring Munnar. Nestled at the meeting point of three mountain streams—Kundale, Nallathanni, and Mudrapuzha—and located 1600 meters above sea level, Munnar was once the summer retreat of the British government in South India. Start your sightseeing at the Tata Tea Museum (closed on Mondays), then visit Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, and Photo Point. In the afternoon, head to Rajamalai (Eravikulam National Park, closed from January to March for breeding season), where you might spot the rare Nilgiri Thar mountain goats. Return to Munnar for an overnight stay.
After having breakfast, we will drive to another exciting place in Kerala to enjoy the scenic beauty of the backwaters—Alleppey, the Venice of the East. Endowed with diverse water bodies, intricate inland waterways, labyrinths of rivulets, and lakes, Alleppey will undoubtedly be embossed to your heart forever. The expansive stretches of green paddy fields, lines of coconut palms amidst the backwaters will make you fall in love with Alleppey and her immaculate beauty over and over again. You can also surely enjoy the exotic cuisine of Alleppey. Your overnight stay is arranged at a House Boat/ Hotel in Alleppey, which is the best part. After breakfast you will check out from the houseboat/ Hotel at 08:00 hrs and proceed to Kovalam beach. The journey is through costal areas of Kerala, you can see , view of lagoons rivers, evergreen coconut palms make this journey very enjoyable , Reach Kovalam and check in at your hotel It is one of the beast beaches of India with its lovely slice beach sand and perfectly positioned palms. Evening relax on the Kovalam beach . Overnihgt at Hotel. Sightseeing: - Light house beach, Hawah Beach, Ashoka beach Distance between Alleppey to Kovalam is 165 Kms / 6.5 hours by road.
After breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Trivandrum, visiting notable attractions such as the Napier Museum, Kuthiramalika Museum, and Sri Padmanabha Temple. In the afternoon, you will be transferred to the renowned Kovalam Beach, where you can relax and unwind. Return to your hotel in Kovalam for an overnight stay.Additional sightseeing options in Trivandrum include Sree Padmanabha Swami Temple, Kuthiramalika Palace Museum, the Napier Museum, Sree Chithra Art Gallery, the Zoological Park, the Science and Technology Museum, Kanakakunnu Palace, and the Planetarium.
Have your fill of a delicious breakfast at your hotel and then proceed to Cochin Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey.
