Our representative will greet the guests at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP), Bagdogra Airport (IXB), or Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (Junction) and assist with the transfer to Gangtok. Located at an altitude of 1670 meters (5480 feet), Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim, is a perfect blend of tranquility and adventure. Known for its monasteries, mystic rituals, and vibrant festivals, it is one of India's most popular destinations. The town is renowned for its beautiful landscapes, with abundant Rhododendrons, Orchids, and butterflies. The 135-kilometer drive takes approximately 4.5 to 5 hours. Upon arrival, check into the hotel. In the evening, you have free time to explore M.G. Road (Mall) or the local shopping center.Overnight stay at the hotel in Gangtok.
After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, embark on an excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir, located about 40 kilometers away, with a 2-hour drive through the Kyongnosla Alpine Sanctuary. This sanctuary is home to the red panda and blood pheasant, with Rhododendrons and other alpine trees lining the route. Situated at an altitude of 3753 meters (12310 feet), Tsomgo Lake is an oval-shaped lake, approximately 50 feet deep, and remains covered in snow for most of the year. The lake is home to Brahmini ducks and various migratory birds. Close by, visit the sacred Baba Mandir, a highly revered site. The optional excursion to Nathu La Pass, just 20 kilometers away, leads to the Republic of China. After the tour, return to Gangtok and spend the evening at leisure, exploring M.G. Nearby attractions include Yuksom, Ravangla, Rinchenpong, and Namchi. After breakfast at the hotel, embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of Pelling. The scenic drive takes you through forested routes, with inspiring botanical and zoological diversity. Visit Rimbi Waterfalls and the Rimbi Rock Garden, followed by Kechopalri Lake, a sacred Buddhist lake believed to grant wishes. According to local legend, when a leaf falls on the calm surface of the lake, a bird immediately picks it up, keeping the water always clear of leaves. Continue to Kechopalri Monastery, Pemayangtse Monastery, and the Rabdantse Ruins. From the top of the ruins, enjoy a stunning view of the Kanchendzonga ranges, a sight to treasure. After breakfast at the hotel, embark on your journey to Darjeeling. The scenic drive, passing through Gyalsing and Jorethang, covers approximately 135 kilometers and takes around 3 to 3.5 hours. Located at an elevation of 2123 meters (7001 feet), Darjeeling, known as the "Queen of the Hills," is famous for its breathtaking beauty, sloping tea gardens, and stunning views of Mount Everest. The town is home to renowned international schools and several iconic sites, including the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, and the historic Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Early in the morning, around 3:45 AM, drive through oak and magnolia forests to reach Tiger Hill at 8000 feet (2440 meters) for a spectacular sunrise over the Kanchendzonga Peak (weather permitting). On the way back, visit the Ghoom Monastery, Peace Memorial, and Batasia Loop. Return to the hotel for breakfast and relax for a short while. Afterward, embark on a half-day city tour, visiting key attractions such as the Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursdays), Ropeway, Tensing Gumpo Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Center (closed on Sundays), Tea Estate, Natural History Museum (closed on Sundays), and Peace Pagoda. After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin your journey to Siliguri, New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP), Bagdogra Airport (IXB), or Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (Junction). The drive takes approximately 3 ½ to 4 hours, covering a distance of around 105 kilometers. Upon arrival, proceed with your onward journey.
